Note: This talk is NOT only directed to women! It addresses gender issues of different countries and societies and provides role models for all genders. This time, the WISAS lecture is embedded in the University-wide "Diversity-week" which is organized by the Vice-Rectorate for Gender Equality and Diversity and the Department for Gender and Diversity Management of the University of Cologne.

Sarah Millar is a highly respected and internationally recognized researcher whose principal focus is the development and renewal of skin, hair follicles, teeth, mammary glands and she has collaborative interests in the areas of lung and heart development. Furthermore, she is renowned as an exemplary mentor with an ardent commitment to the development and advancement of younger scientists, students, and post-doctoral fellows and also of women in academic medicine at her home University.
