Ageing research by CECAD Cologne has been selected as one of the 365 places in the country of German ideas (365 Orte im Land der Ideen). Deutschland Country of Ideas (Deutschland Land der Ideen) is an initiative of the Federal Republic of Germany and the German Industry, represented by the Federation of German Industries (BDI). The objective is to emphasize the German strengths in Germany and abroad. CECAD Cologne will under the patronage of President Horst Köhler represent Germany on 15 October 2009.
