07.10.2020

Each year the german society für nephrology (DGfN) honors outstanding scientific work in the field of kidney disease and hypertension with the Carl-Ludwig-Award.

This year Prof. Müller is honored for the outstanding work in translational nephrological research. His group uses various model organisms in combination with state-of-the-art methods of RNA biology to reveal the mechanisms behind kidney diseases. How can an increase in cellular stress resistance protect against kidney damage? - This question plays a central role in Müller's research. Addtitional these approaches are actively transferred in clinical studies.
