Information about Deborah Toiber (PhD):
Deborah Toiber received her PhD in 2004 in Molecular Biology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem before becoming a Graduate Research Assistant there. In 2009 she pursued research as a Postdoc at the MGH cancer center of the Harvard Medical School. In 2014 she opened her own lab at the Ben Gurion University of the Negev in Israel where she is working on chromatin modifications and chromatin modifying enzymes in DNA repair mechanisms. Therefore she is perfectly aware of opportunities and pitfalls when opening your own lab, not only from a woman’s perspective.
Everybody is welcome to join and we are looking forward to your participation!
