New initiative - GADIS starts with workshops and lectures in May

GADIS, which stands for Gender And Diversity In Science, is a collaborative initiative of the Max Planck Institute for Biology of Aging, the Collaborative Research Center for Key Mechanisms of Motor Control in Health and Disease (SFB 1451) and CECAD aiming at raising awareness for diversity topics, set positive role models for successful gender equality concepts, and reveal new general perspectives and ideas for gender equality and diversity in science.

To strengthen the diverse research community, GADIS is organizing and offering workshops and lectures like:

  • Intercultural communication skills
  • Being a valuable member in a diverse team
  • Why still care about equal opportunities in the 21st century?

More information about GADIS and registration for workshops and lectures can be found here: https://www.cecad.uni-koeln.de/career/diversity/gadis
