Aging Science Expedition – CECAD live
For a week in mid-June 2012 the CECAD exhibition “Aging Science Expedition – CECAD live“ could be seen at the centrally located Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) Cologne. Interactive exhibits highlighted the diseases that CECAD’s areas of research will help to combat. On any one example, visitors could see the individual benefits and processes of translational research. Giant interactive display cubes and screens gave an exciting demonstration of how aging research in Cologne has become an extremely dynamic field, a beacon on the Cologne research landscape, illuminating issues of high social relevance. Beside high-ranking officials from business, politics, administration and science, many other Cologne residents took the opportunity to get a detailed picture of the Cluster of Excellence CECAD, its research aims and its vision for the future.
