"Being a Scientist is amazing (most of the time). On the one hand, we are creatives,
following our curiosity, formulating our best ideas about how nature works, testing
these rigorously, and working in partnership with others.
On the other hand, it is also a job amidst a complex set of forces that can drain away
the joy that we bring to our work. I will share my personal experience of my career,
highlighting what I have learned along the way to help spark, re-kindle, and sustain
the joy that drew me to science."
