Honors received for new Leukemia Therapy
Prof. Michael Hallek of the University Hospital of Cologne received an award last night for a new, life-prolonging treatment for certain leukemia patients. The award ceremony was held in Wiesbaden as part of the annual conference of the German Society for Internal Medicine (DGIM). The prize, worth 25,000 Euros, is awarded annually by the Paul-Martini Foundation in Berlin.
