CECAD scientists benefit from a large international network. Besides the numerous collaborations of CECAD Principal Investigators with other leading institutions worldwide, academic exchange programs have been set up for both scientists and PhD students.
Ongoing exchange between the scientists provides new impetus – communication generates new questions for research and supplies new information.
CECAD scientists are involved in various international networks. Besides the numerous collaborations of CECAD Principal Investigators with other leading institutions worldwide, academic exchange programs have been set up for both scientists and PhD students. Furthermore, CECAD, together with the University of Cologne and the Max Planck Institutes for Metabolism Research and Biology of Ageing, plans to develop an international network with institutions such as Baylor College (Houston, USA), the Buck Institute (Novato, USA), the Institute of Healthy Ageing (UCL, London, UK), the University of Leiden (The Netherlands) and the Metabolic Research Laboratories (Cambridge, UK).
A close partnership connects CECAD and the Institute of Research on Cancer and Aging (IRCAN) in Nice, France; both principal investigators and students benefit from the active exchange and networking with the associated scientists.
CECAD organized international 'Aging Conferences' inviting many renowned speakers of the international aging research community.
