The Department 7 for Research Management of the University of Cologne organises in cooperation with the National Contact Point ERC a workshop on the ERC Consolidator Grants in Horizon 2020. Information on the general principles of the ERC, the current call and useful tips from a successful Principal Investigator and an ERC Panel Chair will be provided.

The workshop addresses researchers with 7-12 years research experience since completion of their PhD and with a scientific track record showing great promise. With an ERC Consolidator grant you can build up or consolidate your own research group over 5 years with max. € 2 million. The workshop addresses those researchers in particular who aim to submit their proposals in this year’s ERC Consolidator Grant call (expected publication of the call: 24 October 2017, deadline: 15 February 2018).
