Girls' and Boys' Day 2026 at CECAD – A Huge Success!
In NiessenLab the participants learned about skin structure and the effects of UV radiation. They stained tissue samples themselves and examined them under the microscope.
In our NephroLab the program included various pipetting methods and pH measurements.
In FrezzaLab DNA samples were sorted by size, and the young researchers analyzed whether the test animals carried mutated or unmutated genes. They also examined the stress response of cells to nutrient deficiency.
It was great to see how much joy and curiosity the young people brought to the experience. Maybe we’ll see some of them again in the lecture halls in a few years.
A big thank you to everyone who participated and gave the children a glimpse into the world of science!
