New Study Reveals Mechanisms Possibly Leading To Skin Diseases Such As Skin Cancer Or Psoriasis

New findings about skin cell stratification regulated by a specific receptor located on the surface of the cell (insulin- and IGF-1 receptor) and a regulatory protein in the nucleus (p63) might contribute to understanding skin diseases such as skin cancer, psoriasis or ichtyosis.
