SFB 670 - Minisymposium
Monday, 21th November 2011, starting at 13.00 o'clock.
Venue: Seminar Room of the ZMMK Research Building
(Robert-Koch-Str. 21, 50931 Köln)
The use of non-human hosts in the study of host-pathogen interactions offers a number of advantages and has steadily increased in recent years. Particularly suited are those hosts whose genome sequence is known and for which excellent genetic and cell biological tools are available. In this Minisymposium leading scientists introduce the value of different host organisms, from Dictyostelium to mouse, for dissecting the complex crosstalk between host and pathogen.
