Ageing presents us with great challenges - each and every one of us, but also our society as a whole. Microscopy plays an important role in solving the mysteries of ageing. Researchers use microscopy to create true works of art - scientifically, but also aesthetically, of the highest quality. We invite you to gain fascinating insights into the world of ageing research and present you with CECAD research images of employees of the Imaging Facility.

During the vernissage, ageing researcher Prof. Björn Schumacher and microscopist Dr. Astrid Schauss will report on their work in short lectures.
