CECAD is actively involved in both interventional clinical trials and large-scale cohort studies, essential for advancing medical research and treatment development. By integrating clinical trials and cohort studies, CECAD aims to enhance our understanding of disease mechanisms and improve diagnostics, treatments, and preventive measures for a healthy aging.
Translational Cohort Projects involve following groups of individuals over time to identify patterns, risk factors, and outcomes associated with different health conditions. CECAD has established extensive cohort studies, involving over 25,000 patients and 53,000 healthy volunteers. These studies provide valuable data on molecular patterns and genetic traits related to aging and other health outcomes, supporting the development of targeted interventions and preventive strategies.
